RMIT Bash 2012

Can't believe October just past in a blink of an eye and marks the end of Sem 1 in uni.
Please please please let me pass Marketing and Stats ): *Chants*

So, a few weeks back I attended my first Uni bash at Zouk. They had pageants and stuff which I was not really interested in. Wasn't into dancing too 'cos I'm surrounded by schoolmates (turned off by that)
I was also the first time I stayed till they closed. Literally lights on and off we go. First time witnessing my friend getting so drunk, first time witnessing who were the true blue friends,
first time having "free flow" of alcohols - one after another!!...

There's so many things you can just observed in the club, that's where/when one's fate changed.
I'm guilty in so many ways, new month new start, I hope to be a better person.
At least, less bitching and be kind to one another. (Hopefully)

Give Blood. Save Lives

Just 2 days ago, I made the greatest decision to donate a bag of blood. I was my first and definitely not last.
The whole process was barely 10 mins? Apart from the health check (filling up forms etc), my blood flow quite fast.

I always wanted to donate ever since...donkey years but I was too young back then. It didn't hit me till I was in Uni. I went on with a group of friends hoping to make a difference in someone Else's life but there's a lil hiccups here and there, none of us able to donate in the end.

Was a lil disappointed, I mean like I was excited to try out since I'm not afraid of a "Yakult straw" like needles (oh for your info, they do numb the area so it's almost painless!) and since my body is capable of giving.. WHY NOT?
Who knows if one day I'm able to use my own blood to save myself... Hmm.

Always grateful that I'm blessed with healthy body.



The end product. A bag of blood can actually save 3 lives!!!
